General Team Rules
1. Remember at all times that you are an ambassador of the clan and should always behave appropriately (including in IRC). This also means no TKing/TWing no matter how annoyed you are with somebody.
2. New Members: All new members must go through a probationary period. They MUST attend all praccys if they can. If they cant and they do not leave a message on the forum or speak to an admin then they will be dropped. Simple. This period lasts for not less than 2 weeks, and can last as long as we feel necessary.
3. BULLYING - Harrasing/bullying players is not accepted on our servers, kicking/banning/slaying for no reason can be punished with a removal of your commands.
4. NO CHEATING! - cheating is not an option, we are 100% against cheating in any game.
5. LISTEN TO PLAYERS - Try to help them if they have a problem, or if many people are unhappy with a map you have chosen, run a vote to get a feeling of what they want, we have to provide a safe and FUN environment for all players who come to the |SFH| servers, and you guys are the ones who can make that happen.
6. ADMIN - If you have your admin removed for any negative reason you will loose the admin fee paid. Admin access is a privelage and a gift, not a right!
7. Above all have fun! (After all whats the point otherwise?!)
Attending Practices
A. You MUST try to make at least 1 praccy (and pref both once running) per week. If you can't its ok, but just tell us!!!
B. If you cannot make a practice, you MUST leave a message on the forum in advance with ur reason, eg too much uni work, workin at McDs, your hamster died, etc this is fine.
C. If you do not show up to praccy and do not bother to email or post a message on the forum you will get a strike... too many strikes and you're out the clan.
D. You must have a working microphone and a copy of ventrilo configured and connected to our vent server
D. Please show up in quakenet IRC #sfhclan and ventrilo BY 8.45pm for a 9.00-10.30 praccy (earlier if possible).
Practice Rules
The map will be chosen in advance based on the map we are due to play a match on that night and the map name and some taccys should be on the webby for you to look at in advance.
We then all join the server and have a 10 minute(ish) warmup followed by a taccie talk. In this time you DO NOT fire weapons or attack the other team! This cannot be expressed strongly enough! ANYONE pissing about will be kicked from practice and banned for a set number of hours. After this there will be time for a quick team talk followed by two rounds of the map chosen.
At the end of the 1st round the 2 teams will swap sides and play the same map again.
If we do not have a match afterwards, whatever time is left will be used to play a map of our choice for a bit of fun and no fixed teams. |
