Final Score 4 - 20

To be honest today we were beaten properly for the first time. I know we have lost but they were exceptional circumstances and beyond our control.

Team was: Demonboy (cap), Richie, Mojo Jojo, Gizmo and Gomo

Big thanks go to WBC we asked them to perform our test which they did so without too much complaint :P and the when it transpired Demon had booked the server for the following week (slap) he quickly got it sorted and we got underway.

But after a good practice we picked what I thought to be our strongest side and had our tactics set. Unfortunately on the day WBC proved too much for us to handle. They were very strong on defence and some poor rushing (stopping in doors and not following through with the taccys) meant we did not perform to our full ability. It was close in the first few rounds but as the match progressed WBC just got stronger. Yosemite in particular took great delight in blowing my head off at the slightest opportunity and some close rounds where we were begging for the bomb to go off saw them just defuse it in time, a few more of those in our favour and the score line would have been more even. We went in 9-3 down as terrors with no-one in our pack shinning through.

We swapped to ct’s but I don’t think we even got going and before I knew it they had rushed 3 rounds and once the bomb was down we didn’t get near it. The big disappointment was as it became apparent we were going to lose we just let it go and never got ourselves together. Not to take it away from WBC they rushed well and defended the site effectively, and damn they were accurate too :P they won the first 4 rounds then we got our only round and it was slaughter from then on. It always felt like we were undermanned wherever they rushed us. Only gizmo really did us proud as CT.

So it was actually a decent game, WBC are good clan and bunch of peeps and a rematch would always be welcome, for us its time to stop fucking around, get some serious praccying going on and learn to follow instructions and our game plan, no matter what is happening to the score.
