It seems that games are like buses... wait for a good one to come along and then come five...

Got Far Cry 2 yesterday – so far loving it... best game I've played for a long time and graphically stunning to boot. Dead Space, Bioshock, Fallout 3 and Midnight Club: LA are all out and looking excellent too... with Resident Evil 5, God of War and Tomb Raider on the way... Seems that next gen games are finally catching up with the technology. Now me needs More Money and Much More Time.

I hear fallout 3 on the ps3 sucks balls (very good game tho).

The games are coming out because it's thanks givings in the US soon which is when a lot of people buy games for Christmas- best selling time of the year. That's why all the games are coming out.

We've also had Bioshock for a while now. Gears of War 2 looks good. I'll have to get a PS3 at some point...

Fallout 3 also looks great.

Personally i want to get left 4 dead. Im currently abusing uni internet to download Warhammer online.

My housemate bought Fallout 3 for 360 the other day - can't say as I'm that impressed tbh, although yet to have a decent go on it. Graphics haven't wowed me in the slightest, enemies seem to die/disintegrate in the same manner each time, and the story seems to consist of a lot of walking about a barren landscape picking up random sh*t and looking for more things to kill in the same monotonous manner.

Maybe I just don't get the attraction of Fallout.
