It is 12:32PM (GMT) and the servers are down. Reason why they are down????

What is going on, i was playin last night when the rats server just crashed in the middle of playing, and it hasnt been online since. And now all the servers are down.

i think Ultra-serve are curentlyt doing something with them.

I would expect theyll be back up later today.

Also they may be rebuilding ours at the moment to XP...

has anyone chased up ultra serve about it?

just last time this happened they were offline for a day afterwards when all it needed was someone to reboot them or ask them to do it as i did.

ok peeps, apologies for the delays. I have just about finished configuring the servers now. There are still a few changes to make but most of it is done.

I have set all the servers back up and modded the cfgs for Win32 DLLs instead of the linux .so files. I have updated our metamod from 1.17 to 1.18 (latest version) and got AMX working (though i still need to check if we can get an updated version of this tomorrow night).

I have installed a funky new plugin called hl booster on the HLDS servers which has increased the server fps for each from 64 (default) to about 250 each. The SRCDS server (CSS) is also tweaked and is running at over 500fps giving pings on the server of about 20 and NO LAG...

Gama - all you need to do is get hlguard and sound protector back up and running on win32 and all should be groooooovy....

I have changed the server rdp password and ill post it into the admin forums now.

Can everyone please have a go on the server for the next 24 hrs and give me a bit of feedback here on pings, lag, mods etc. All AMX admins should be working fine now too...

did all the maps go back on? you do I need to reupload them. also is the FTP details still the same or have they changed?

theyre all there, all the old cfgs and maps are still on the same servers. Ill sort out a new ftp account just for you later ross.

It's not too much, we need that amount to keep the servers..

oh and another thing, gama, why is the stats thing gone ? I can't see it in the amx menu either? (how much damage you did etc)

its good in my opinion i was on classics, the pings were ok for the most part, however i REALLY miss the shot thing showing who you hit and how much hp they had left if you died...its annoying when you think you hit a guy but didnt..
