my brother found this thing called OpenTTD.

It lets you play transport tycoon deluxe over the internet!

Its such a quality game and multiplayer is mint!

haven't got a link but im sure its googleable.

yeah I remember playing that a while ago.

There is also ttdpatch, which allows TTD to play under XP.

and there is the sequal to TTD in the form of locomotion, which is very cool, if lacking some features of the older game.

i did try the online one as well, it just didnt feel the same as when i used t oplay it.

richie we should have a pop one night, i agree its not quite the same because they've added 'enhanced features'. they should have left it exactly the same but still its damn fun.

sounds about right, hate to think how long my current game of locomotion has lasted but 1/2 the map is now a big city.
