Avatar in 3D. If you haven't seen it, stop sitting there and go now. No no, don't procrastinate, don't put it off - go NOW.

I would be much more inclined to go and see this if I hadn't already seen the Southpark version, which has kind of ruined it for me!

Saw it, was blown away by the effects. Thought the story line was a little bit tosh, and trust james cameron to make it overly long as usual.
But yeah, exciting times ahead when they start doing more in 3D (3D trailer for alice in wonderland looked pretty good!)

I saw it with a friend, the only thing is that I want to see it in "2D" too, the 3D glasses made the movie a bit darker than normal which was annoying, and I think they overused the "3D" effect on some stuff, you don't need to have it on everything like the doors and such. But other than that, I liked the movie, predictable but it was long and nice

I watched The Hurt Locker and BSG "The Plan" this evening. I have to say (as a big fan of both genres) I was in fact very disappointed. Both movies were OK, but neither of them blew me away. BSG was basically not much more than a recap of the whole series, and Hurt Locker was fine, enjoyable, but I think it lacked substance, and at times, acting ability. Still worth watching tho...

I quite enjoyed "Hurt locker" myself. Dont fancy "Avatar" at all . "Sherlock Holmes" was very "Hollywoody" but fun.

I watched Men Who Stare at Goats last night, pretty good I would say, and quite amusing in places. Shame Ewan McGregors yank accent is so bad lol.

Saw that a while ago and enjoyed it Jeff Bridges should get an Oscar just for being him!!I thought I recognised Quaritch in Avatar from somewhere then realised he was the General from MWSAT who ran into the wall at the beginning lol

just seen avatar at the local imax cinema and the 3d effects are superb film was a bit to long especially for a monday night. first time ive been to an imax cinema and was very impresed by the picture quality and size.
"For excitement, scale and sheer sensory overload nothing comes close to the IMAX experience.
With a screen as high as a five storey building and as wide as four buses nose to tail, 2D presentations are spectacular enough, but the special 3D films will have people reaching out to touch the images on the screen. The crystal clear picture and 42 speakers of digital surround sound ensure a truly captivating experience.
You'll never look at a trip to the cinema in the same way again."
