i donloaded ventrilo, but my norton antivirus firewall is not allowing it to connect. i just need some recommendations or advice on how to allow ventrilo to connect to the internet........

i heard sumthing about you can do it thru the control panel, not to sure how tho.

(i got windows XP if that helps)

Open up Norton. >Firewall>Options>Applications

Find Ventrillo in the list, or browse for it if its not there. Set to allow all. Done.

It seems strange though that you havn't set your Norton firewall to automatically configure or ask you ehat you want to do with it when they access the internet.
