ok, im a newbie really when it comes to making homepages.. I am using Front Page to try create one, and like when im "finished" how to I save it and upload it so it comes correct on the website?
I'm planning just to upload it to here
since its free and stuff, and I COULD use there homepage editor, but its too simple... I want something a bit more advanced..

using ftp - btw NEVER EVER EVER use frontpage to make sites, it sucks ass... get macromedia studio MX off bittorrent...

what? how? I think its okay.. I just testing etc.. but the problem is, I am using SmartFTP , but like how to I upload the wholepage.. thats the problem..

get a ftp program and you need three settings for your webspace,
1. host address
2. username
3. password
set these then connect to you webspace and transfer files like you do in explorer.

ok, but if u look at it now, u see the page (its purely testing to see if it works, it looks rubish now.. :P ) , but the thing I have problem with is that, when u click on my pictures there there is supposed you are suposed to come to a new webpage with pictures , but u dont.. thats what my problem is, when I save what I have done in frontpage.. it just saves the files , and I try upload them.. but it just shows that one file.. so how do I do that?

ok this was strange... I pressed the "publish" button, and at first it said it dident exist, I typed in ftp.home.no/grizzler.. and it said it dident exsits and it made a folder in where the previous files was?? lol.. ok and then I just typed in ftp.home.no .. and it worked.. but why lol? and it dident even ask the password!? lol.. ok, but the problem now tho.. except I know there probaly not enough bandwidth it seems.. just look at the pictures.. but, like.. when I want to update it.. do I just need to save the files then? and then just publish them over the old ones? ... cuz this was my main problem... how to have more then just the index file and make everything work..
PS : no, I have 20 MB free space, so I dunno why the pictures dont show up...

griz - you've completely lost me there - i think you should consider giving me a wee shout when I am next on vent and we can go through it. I could maybe even remote into your machine and see if I can fix it for you. BTW I just typed this entire thing with my eyes closed to practice my touch typing hehe....
