Yes im hoping to create a CS map of The Unseen University (The discworlds Premier school of thaumology [Based in good old ankh-morpork])

I just need ideas of buliding placement and other room placement

I already have some ideas but anyhelp would ... Help

Why on earth would I object? Apart from anything im the BIGGEST discworld fan EVER! (Well just about...). I have every discworld book ever released, mostly in 1st edition hardback and i have 5 signed editions... met Terry Pratchett at a book signing in Edinburgh.

I could maybe help give u ideas for layout of the map but as for the technical side you wanna speak 2 gama_k or TheGouldfish as theyre the mapping experts...

In actual fact this thread has prompted me to start a new section on the forums...

KEY to the Map

X = Main octangle

G = Library

P = Modo’s compost heap

Y = Blocked off to make my life easier and to stop the map being overly complex

HEM = high energy magic building

General stuff / Questions

Ct’s spawn in student accommodation (2^nd floor?)

How many floors?

Where do the Terrorists spawn

Do I make cellars or would this make it WAAAY 2 complex

Do I make the tower of art into a HUGE sniper tower (FYI if u don’t know its 800ft tall in the stories)

Should I make the HEM / back of university inaccessible by making a Harmful (toxic / radioactive) radius around Modo’s compost heaps and The high Energy magic Building

any answers would help

I have finished the tower of art -im tackling this one room at a time whilst trying to act V. hard (no rude comments) I'll take some screenies when I've finished testing to see if the tower really works

Then the rest should be easier

What do you mean its piss to do a tower the library is harder

other than that i cant play cs for a week so im bored atm TBH

cool,  if you need any help doing any of the archetechture work then Im up for it,  I mite add im not great when it comes to picking the best textures but Im getting better.

The only problem I have with CS maps is that you can't really be to creative with the lighting,  most CS maps have VERY bland and uniform lighting.  One quick look at courtyard and you can see im not for that idea,  but move with the times as they say..

I pwn WC well "hammer" The library is actually harder than i thought so it maybe not 100% accurate if refering to the books
