because half the people in SFH don't have PC's good enought to play it? it will only fill up if SFH members play it.

Also we are more know for our Rats server then anything else.

Me I want more people on the Source server because I perfer to play it rather then 1.6

I prefer cs source too. It's just nicer. Hit boxes and things are true but I can barely hit anything more of the time so i never notice.

The hit box "problem" is due to sever side config's. I't due to the server not getting enough time on the CPU to process the hitbox movement, and can easly be changed by 2 commands. I did look this up awhile ago but I have forgot what the commands are. I found them off Steam's forums.


I find the only people who say source is piss are the people that don't have the HW to play it, the levels look nicer, the levels generally play nicer too. too at inferno it amazing in source.

nothing wrong with my hardware , and if you say its a server prob then fix it and ill gladly play it . Looks gorgeous but its just too random atm .

right have a quick lookup here are soem of the commands that need to be changed

tickrate it needs to be either 66 or 100.

The higher you set it the more CPU power the game will take, but the better the hit box's will be.

and the more it will f**k all the other servers on the box... esp when its never got anyone on it!

anyway, my spec is well above reccomended as you can see from my sig and i still think it plays piss compared to 1.6...

Paul plays it all the time and he has lower specs then you D and it plays fine, he even plays on the 40+ men servers. At which point it does slow down.


plus I have done more reading and the hit box's are ment to be right. the big video that went around one of the settins was set wrong which ment he HAD to shoot directly at the hitbox's and not the people as you normally would.
