Right, so it's about that time of the year, when i usually upgrade something in my computer.
My aim is to get evertything in the windows score to 7 or above.
Looking at the Windows Score Thing i need to upgrade my ram, and hdd.


I was planning on upgrading my mobo as well, as the pci-e is running at 8x,
and not 16x... stupid "feature" of this mobo. So, these are the parts i was
planning on... if anyone can suggest anything better, in the same price range, please do :]

MObo is ok but shame theres only 2x DDR3 slots.

RAM is fine (1333 MHz is same as mine)

HDD is poop. Onyx sucks. Get a Vertex for the same price and 3x the speed.

PS I would be looking at a score of over 7 if I just changed my HDDs for an SSD (tempting, now that were talking about it!).

I wouldn't upgrade the mobo if only "x8 feature" is the only problem with it, no gfx card these days come close to fully saturating a x8 slot.
