ok, I got another problem, I had it on win2k too.. some images or flashes whatever.. just shows a red x.. I have no anti pop up stuff activated and it happend after I took windows update.. and I tried to look on microsofts homepage.. but havent found anything yet.. it just that its a bit annoying lol

It could be lots of things.
1) You do not have admin privilages to install flash or another similar program, and it causes the red cross
2) You have a firewall blocking the picture or program from loading.
3) You have to change the security settings in tools>internet options>security in order for your browser to allow the prog or piccy to run.

Try all those for starters.

it could just be a crap website. Try doing a force refresh i.e. hit ctrl and then click the refresh button. what are the links to the sites where the images dont show?

Try tools>Internet Options>Advanced and under multimedia click "Show Pictures"

i can see it all fine - tho it just looks like one of those annoying advertising/search sites. Do you have the same problem on any other sites?

ignore the smilies - thats just cos the sites on temp hosting - i already posted about this ages ago - apart from those 2 sites do you have te problems with anywhere else?
