It's still not that bad.. you get a pet for your account, so you have it on every character.
More and more MMO's probably will do this, if it's a bad thing or not, that is up to discussion.

Ive not played for the last 2 months or so , ive spent to much time veging infront of it + the cost is getting ridicluos to play a game , costs to rename , move buy pets etc etc then they keep up the anti with extra lvls and more dungeons its a never ending money making scheme theyve had enough of my cash ive decided no more.
I wont be selling my char becasue of the amount of time ive spent , maybe later when or if i can afford to ,and ive got nothing to do ,i may play again but not for the forseeable future.

I think Blizzard is shameless. They're releasing Starcraft in 3 "episodes" too...
They have the right to sell it how they want of course. Quality of the games is unquestionable, they're counting on it, but this is crazy.
