I'm in a bit of a dilema here, say you got sum haxors on the server and i want to frame this bugger . There wont be enuff time to get his steam-ID and a demo of him hacking and get him banned before he leaves.
What i want to know is if i can go to #sfhclan on irc and slap a admin with a rather large trout, and ask him/her/mixed if he/she/mixed could moderate the server and sort out this meca haxor with a ban before the haxor leaves?
i just really really want to get rid of them, i see them all the time they act like ur mates then they stab u in the back with a perverbial 'hax-knife'. ty.

several ideas have been goin about on this topic, its sommit that is prob gonna be heavily discussed at the upcomin agm, hopefully once agm over and we no wot we doin, there shud be a way for publics to get hold of admins at short notice

could be wrong here, but i think gama may have said this,
when you record a demo, doesnt it also record whn you look at the consoel screen as well? could be very wrong here, also it takes 2 secs to pull the list up in console, then you can always scroll back through after the demo to find the user and thier id!

Here's a script I use to quickly get a screen shot of everyone's steam id. (Taken from http://www.trickery.net/vb/showthread.php?t=21438 )
Put the following script in a file (something.cfg) in your cstrike folder.
alias longwait "wait;wait;wait;wait;wait;wait;wait"
toggleconsole
longwait
longwait
longwait
longwait
longwait
longwait
longwait
longwait
status
longwait
longwait
longwait
longwait
longwait
longwait
longwait
longwait
longwait
snapshot
longwait
longwait
longwait
longwait
hideconsole
escape
Then bind a key to "exec something.cfg"
To quickly get the steam ID of all the players just press the key and you will get a screenie of the console in your cstrike folder (the filenames are [mapname]#.bmp where # is a number).
It's also handy to run this script while recording a demo (then you get the steam_id recorded in the demo)

Eh? I don't follow. I find that script v useful tbh (much quicker than doing it by hand).

lol . Well for now, i guess i could try to get a admin's attention in irc, and if it takes a while for reply i'll get the ID and demo of the haxor. Tad anoying but if justice prevails this way then im all for it baby .
