Please tell me you installed the drivers?
Drop your CS sensitivity to 1. Then use the on-=the-fly sensivity to your preferance.
I use between 2.5 and 4.5 usually.
Trust me, once you get get it right - you'll never look back!

I had to install the drivers for my Laser mouse, at first just taping it would send the mouse pointer to the other side of the screen.
