I've got a dvd .iso image inside a rar archive.

i cant extract the image as its > 4gb (not supported by fat32 as you know) and i dont have an ntfs partition.

is there anything i can do??

doesnt matter didnt realise converting fat32 to ntfs was so quick and easy, so have done that on my second drive and just seeing if i can extract the image.

the only reason you would EVER want fat32 is if you running win9X, ntfs is better.

was about to say convert to ntfs...

fat32 gives a (VERY) small performance increase over ntfs but has no redundancy for your data. ntfs rocks, the new ntfs they WERE going to make for longhorn (think it was gonna be called winfs or summat) has now been canned but it was gonna be even better...
