Can someone please give suggestions for why my PC wont even POST?
The PC has been tempremental over the last week or so, but recently, they have gotten a LOT worse.
In the last week, the PC would occasionally freeze up completely and then only after a few re-boots would the Motherboard even POST.
Now the Motherboard wont POST at all regardless of how many times i reboot.
I have taken it apart, and put it back together (including reseting the motherboard).
It is still in the same state.
Has anybody got any suggestions?

Somethings f**ked i think if its not even getting to post screen it is worrying i should think the proccesor is fine if it was a phased problem at the start maybe a RAM problem or something similar or maybe the MOBO is fried whats hapepening when you try to boot is it trying to start are you getting fans running and stuff and then it just turning off? But if you want a guess now i would say mobo or ram

Everything runs as it should, but nothing on the display and no sound from the MB.
My guess was that it would be the MB, but is there an easy way of testing?

In all honesty though sounds like your mobo is gone if graphics and sound have both stopped

try this remove the ram then boot the pc if it bleeps mobo is trying to post so it might be your gfx card and not your mobo. try another graphics card if you have one available.

Nice suggestion Gam.
Removed the RAM and there was no difference to the MB's POST.
Proves it is the MB really.

Oh yeah... another processor.
'scuse me while i pull that one out of my arse...

tbh though, i think you are wrong there.
The MB would come up with some kind of error when booting without a processor. (How much of a 3.06GHz processor does it need just to beep ffs?).

I'm hoping ya brov will return me messages - i plan on spending a few $$'s at his shop.

Yeah Mobo dead have you guys heard of that mobo you can buy that instead of using annoying beeps to tell you whats wrong you plug it into a set of speakers and it tells you whats wrong like if you havent put that proccesor in but youve hooked into up to power and everything it will start going no proccesor installed
